DON ”DYNO” DORSETT born and raised in Santa Rosa and graduated from Santa Rosa high school in 1966. He enrolled in the United States Air Force like my Grandfather. He went to Vietnam, then was stationed in Phoenix, AZ, where he met my Mom. They opened up Don’s Antiques and built Duesenburgs. He closed that shop in 1986 and moved back to California, where he worked for American Speed, where he later became a partner, then owner. He closed that shop and opened American Dream Rods in 1990 where he built custom street rods until 2007.
